1. 개인정보 수집 및 이용 목적

  1. 1) 메이필드 호텔은 서비스 제공을 위하여 필요한 최소한의 범위 내에서 다음 각 항목과 같은 목적으로 개인정보를 수집하고 있습니다.

      1. - 성명, 생년월일, 국적,회사명, 직위, 남녀구분 : 회원제 서비스에 따른 본인 확인 절차에 활용
      2. - 연락처(전화번호, 휴대폰 등) : 회원제 서비스에 따른 본인 확인 절차에 활용. 공지, 불만처리 등을 위한 원활한 의사소통의 경로확보, 서비스 및 신상품, 이벤트 정보 제공

Privacy Policy

'MAYFIELD Hotel'(hereafter 'The Company') shall value personal information of customers and observes' Act on promotion of information and communication network utilization and information protection'. The Company shall disclose the privacy policy on its website to inform customers how and for what purpose of customers' personal information is used and managed and let customers know necessary measures taken to protect their personal information.
If revised, revised privacy policy is noticed by website (or noticed by individually).

  • · This policy took effect from Nov. 26, 2007.
Personal information being collected
  • The Company shall collect personal information for membership, consulting, service application and so on.
  • –Collected information Name, Date of birth, Gender, Log-in ID, Password, Home phone number, Home address, Cellular phone number, E-mail address, Credit card information, Service history, Connection log, Payment record

Purpose of colleciton and utilization of personal information
  • The Company shall use collected personal information for the following purposes.

  • -Utilization for marketing and advertisement Transmission of advertising information such as event, understanding frequency of access or statistics on service utilization of members
Duration of preservation and utilization of personal information
  • In principle, the Company shall destroy the personal information once the purpose for the collection and use of such personal information achieved. However, if the preservation is required by the law, the company shall preserve personal information for a certain period in accordance with related acts and regulations as described below.
  • -Preserved information Name, Date of birth, Gender, Log-in ID, Password, Home phone number, Home address, Cellular phone number, E-mail address, Service history, Connection log, Payment record
  • -Ground for preservation : Act on consumer protection in electronic commerce transactions
  • -Preservation period : 5 years
Personal information destruction and procedure
  • In principle, the Company shall destroy the personal information once the purpose for the collection and use of such personal information achieved. The procedure and methods for destroying information are as follows :
  • -Destruction procedure The information entered by individuals to join as a member shall be moved to a separate DB (in case of paper, move to a separate file box) after achieving its purpose, and shall be stored for a certain period of time depending on the reasons for information protection (refer to duration of preservation and utilization of personal information), and shall be destroyed in accordance with the internal policy and related laws. Personal information that is moved to a separate DB shall not be used for purposes other than storage, unless otherwise specified by the law.
  • -Destruction method Personal information stored as a electronic file shall be destroyed by a deletion method that can not be technically restored.
Provision of personal information
  • In principle, the Company shall not provide customers’ information to other companies. But, the Company shall provide customers’ information for cases described below: When there is customers’ consent in advance - When the information is requested by a government agency for the purpose of conducting an investigation in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
User and legal proxy's right and action method
  • Users and their legal proxies can check and modify their own information or the information of children younger than 14 years old at anytime, and they can also request for the cancellation of membership. To check and modify the personal information of users or children younger than 14 years old, click "Personal Information Change" (or “Member Information Correction" ). To cancel membership (approved cancellation), click “Member Withdrawal." After the verification of identification, direct checking, corrections, and withdrawals are possible. Or, if contacting the person in charge of managing personal information in writing, by phone, or e-mail, immediate measures shall be taken without hesitation. If you request for the correction of personal information, the personal information shall not be used or provided until the correction is completed. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the result of correction shall be notified to the third party without hesitation and proper correction will take place. MAYFIELD Hotel shall process personal information that has been cancelled or deleted upon the request of users or their legal proxies in accordance with the specification of “Duration of preservation and utilization of personal information," and shall process the information so that it cannot be used or viewed for purposes other than those specified.
